Urquhart Castle is a striking castle located on the banks of Loch Ness. The castle is a Grade A listed building and is considered one of the finest examples of medieval castle architecture in the country.

The castle was built in the 13th century and has a long and varied history, including periods of use as a military fortress, as a royal residence, and as a film and television location. Visitors can also walk through the beautiful gardens surrounding the castle and enjoy stunning panoramic views of Loch Ness (the loch with the monster...)
