Not one but two incredible galleries set within beautiful parkland just 15 minutes walk from Princes Street.
Modern One features a series of sculptures within its grounds and a wonderful collection of art ranging from the turn of the 20th Century through to the present day. You can see work by artists such as Picasso, Matisse, Vuillard, and Dix as well as paintings by some of Scotlands most notable artists such as Pepleo, Fergusson and Steven Campbell.
Modern Two is the home of the Stairwell Project - a large-scale permanent installation by Richard Wright (Turner Prize winner 2009) together with sculptures by Eduard Paolozzi.
Both galleries are set across the road from one another, so moving between the two is very straightforward.
