Description

The Roman Baths in Bath are a must-see attraction for anyone interested in pre-history and archaeology. The baths are a well-preserved Roman site that includes a complex of thermae (baths), a temple, and a museum. You can explore the ancient baths, which were used for bathing and socialising, and learn about the Roman way of life in the city (of the same name!).

The museum displays artefacts and exhibits that provide insight into the history and culture of the Romans, including clothing, jewellery, and household items. The temple, dedicated to the Celtic god Sulis-Minerva, is also open to visitors. In addition to touring the baths, visitors can relax in the modern Pump Room, which serves light meals and drinks.
