Description

Manchester Museum is a part of the University of Manchester and one of the oldest museums in the United Kingdom. The museum offers visitors a wide range of exhibitions and displays showcasing natural history, archaeology and anthropology from around the world.

Visitors can discover the diversity of life on Earth and the cultures of different civilisations from the ancient Egyptians to the present day, through the permanent galleries of the museum. The museum is also home to a large collection of Egyptian artefacts, including mummies, sarcophagi and hieroglyphs. Visitors can also explore a variety of temporary exhibitions throughout the year that cover different themes, such as art and science.

In addition to exhibitions, the museum also provides education programs for visitors of all ages, such as workshops and tours, to enhance the visitors understanding about the collections and the historical and scientific context in which they were made.
