Put simply, people who visit Monty’s Guide are looking to make an informed decision on where to visit next but haven’t necessarily got a bias towards a particular location, organisation or group.
And that’s what sets us apart.
Many visitors to our site, especially those from overseas, may not be aware that there are many different organisations, trusts and businesses that look after some of our most important heritage and museums, so our aim is to bring everyone together in one place.
As we’re all carefully watching our budgets, we made a decision right from the outset that Monty’s Guide should be affordable for everyone, and membership lasts a whole year without any sneaky commissions.
Manage each of your listings with your own customised dashboard. Everything is submitted & managed online, so you can promote new events and update your listings at the click of a button.
We’re open and transparent about our numbers, and each listing comes with its own dashboard of stats and metrics to give you a realtime insight to how your listing is performing on Monty’s Guide.
We want listings in our guide to be affordable for everyone. Therefore our three membership tiers offer exceptional value for money.
As a fan of ice creams, we’re using them as an analogy for the level of ‘deliciousness’ that you get with each membership tier 🍦
*Each membership lasts for 12-months and are renewed on an annual basis. You will not be billed during your free trial, and if you choose to cancel before your trial ends, you won’t pay a penny (we promise).

We offer all new members their first month for free. No catch whatsoever.
If you decide Monty’s Guide is not for you, you can cancel before your free trial ends and you’ll not be charged a penny.
That’s a promise.
Annual memberships last 12-months and don’t expire unless cancelled. During this time you can make unlimited updates to your listing, switch plans and add events at no additional cost, all from one single dashboard. Membership automatically renews every 12-months but you are free to cancel at any time.
We have a dedicated support page which provides clear information on how to set up your account, add listings and manage subscriptions.
Once you have created an account on Monty’s Guide you will be able to access all our resources and guides for free.

Our memberships are available to purchase via credit/debit card or Direct Debit, and you will receive a receipt & VAT invoice for each payment made on Monty’s Guide.
When you purchase a membership, you are creating a listing for your venue, attraction, museum or place. This allows you to add all the necessary information that you wish to display to visitors and you have complete control over it during the lifetime of your membership.
Once you have created a listing, we will review and then approve it. This typically takes less than an hour and your listing will then be live on Monty’s Guide.
We review all listings for two primary reasons:

When a listing expires or is cancelled, it becomes unpublished. You will be able to republish it by going to your account dashboard and selecting “Relist”. By default, a listing only expires if you choose not to renew a subscription or manually remove your listing from Monty’s Guide.
You will be asked to choose a membership and the listing will be relisted once payment has been made and the listing reapproved by the team at Monty’s Guide (this usually happens very quickly).
Once you have selected a paid membership and listed a place, you will then the able to add multiple events via your account dashboard.
Adding events is totally free but we also offer the option to feature or promote specific event listings that you wish to display more prominently on Monty’s Guide
